DragonFly Tours is our travel agency here in Iquitos, Peru. We can book your Peruvian National flights at local rates.
You should book your international roundtrip to Lima and let us help you with the Lima to Iquitos roundtrip.
Here's the information we need to do this:
Date and time of your international arrival and departure to Lima, Peru. Most often the international flights arrive too late to make a connection to Iquitos on the same day, therefore you must either wait it out in the airport for the next available flight out or take a taxi into Lima to a hotel for the evening. First flights out begin around 5am. The Lima airport is quite modern and safe. Upstairs there are resturants and there's wi fi throught out the airport, bookstores, etc.. You can check your luggage for your next flight at your airlines check in counter.
Your name as it appears on your passport, passport number and country of issue.
Please let us know if you prefer a hostal/hotel for the evening in Lima or if you'd prefer to wait it out in the airport for the next flight. And if you wish to have time in Lima when you return from Iquitos (what day do you wish to return to Lima).
We then reserve your flight and inform you of the cost. Then send the funds here so we can purchase the reservation, use Western Union or Moneygram. Sorry, PayPal does not allow Peru to have access to it. Follow the same instructions above in the Registration section. If there are no WUnion or MGram offices near you, it can be done on line: www.westernunion.com or www.emoneygram.com
I pick up the funds and purchase the reservation. I then send you the ETICKET CODE. This is the CODE that you show the airlines when checking in. If for some reason you lose the CODE, the reservation is also under your passport number and name so no worries. As well, I forward to you the Electronic ticket.
Sometimes the person working for WUnion or MGram will quiz you by asking if you know this person in Peru, what is it for, etc., as they are trying to make sure you are not be scammed. Best is just to say that Alan is a friend of mine.
